I just hate knowing that I'm leaving easily accessible power on the table. Does these modifications void the warranty :) Comment. Is this even a viable option? If this won't work then I'll likely just run the stock tune because it's more than enough for a daily. yamaha or like,I mean what about warranty issues Yes, I would also like to know this. ![]() That way, if I do ever need warranty work I can just reinstall the stock ECU. Is there a way around this? I was thinking about buying a second ECU and tuning it to my liking while putting the ECU with stock tune on a shelf. I know I can get away with a nice intake and exhaust setup without voiding the powertrain part of the warranty, but I'm well aware that tuning the car will almost certainly void it and tbh, I'm even more interested in a good tune than I'm interested in making it sound good. I never would have bought that warranty myself but that's the situation.
